Do You See Color Now?
Hand-deconstructed fabric installation with cotton rope and wooden clothespins
Fall 2017

Minneapolis College of Art + Design
Commissioned Installation

This piece aims to make the invisible visible—specifically, the deconstruction of identity throughout human existence, revealing how dominant cultures continue normalizing violence and oppression. The common thread of trauma is woven throughout our civilization. The result is a tapestry that blankets differences, making marginalized people invisible.
