Hand-deconstructed fabric & forged steel installation

This installation highlights Arguedas' progress as an artist, the fabric of her identity, and the weighted journey that has occurred as a result.

 

Arguedas' process of hot metal forging involves dynamically turning and bending the metal in a dance to create an organically energetic form, which contrasts with the sedentary process of deconstructing fabric.
